We’ve had the pleasure of knowing Emily & Casey well before they asked us to photograph their wedding and over the last year have become great friends, sharing many fun nights out together! When it came to their wedding day it was not only special for them, their families and friends but also for us. To see two amazing people, who are so much in love, tie the knot and give one another to each other is and always remains, special to us! The preparations for the day began at the fantastic Renaissance Hotel downtown and we were all hoping for snow! It had been forecast and really what’s a February wedding without a little dusting! Well we got exactly what we wanted, just enough to make for some great images but not enough to be an inconvenience…Perfect! So after a short shoot at the hotel we headed over to St. Francis of Assisi for a wonderful ceremony followed by a trip over to German Village with the bridal party and a stop at Casey’s favorite bar, Club 185, for a couple of cheeky drinks, and why not! Once we’d sufficiently refreshed ourselves it was on to Via Vecchia for one of the most fun, intimate and beautiful receptions we’ve had the privilege of being a part of. Here’s a little taster of what we all got up to on the day…Thanks again guys, and don’t forget drinks at Club 185 next week!! Love, Paul & Miranda.

Jess and Matt tie the knot in Tiffin!
Well as we close out 2012 and get fired up for the 2013 wedding season, it’s time to look back on our last wedding of the year!
Now if you have been following our blog throughout the year, you may remember Jess & Matt’s engagement shoot – we certainly do – we had such a good time with them, Jess’ smile and personality is simply infectious!!
We knew their wedding was going to be something special and it didn’t disappoint. We met Jess and the girls at the Bowe House, a historic cottage in the center of Tiffin, just minutes away from the fantastic Catholic church where they held their beautiful ceremony. Their reception was held at Camden Falls – where the team there did a fantastic job; good food, great music and wonderful decor which had been arranged by Matt and Co. Over all, we couldn’t have wished for a better way to bring a simply fantastic year to a close! Thank you, Jess & Matt, and thank you to all of our wonderful couples who took those first tentative steps into marriage and spending the rest of their lives together! Thanks guys – you all ROCK!!!!
xoxo,
Paul & Miranda
Emily and Sean’s German Village Fall Fantasy
We’ve known Emily and Sean for some time now and have been so looking forward to working with them. Originally their wedding was planned for May 18, 2013 but one thing lead to another and they decided to get married in the place where Sean proposed to Emily, Bald Head Island, NC. Sean went to elaborate lengths to lure Emily down there without knowing that the rest of their families were also there to join in the celebration and he even hired a photographer to shoot the actual moment, well planned Sean! So next year, mid-April we will be joining them in Bald Head Island to photograph their nuptials and will also join them in Columbus to document the reception on the original wedding date in May! We are so excited to be a part of this wonderful couples wedding celebrations. So to kick things off and get them comfortable in front of the camera we met up in German Village where they live to do an engagement session, believe me it didn’t take them too long to get a feel for the camera as you can see, they are both naturals!!
